Accessing Product Template Editor

To access the Product Template Editor you must be logged in with the administrator toolbar visible at the top of your screen. Select the button from the administrator toolbar. This will load the Applications Menu, from here select 'Product Template Editor'.

The Template Editor will load.

Editing Styles

The style can be changed for most elements of a product. To change the style of any element in the product template editor, select the 'Edit' button next to that object/style type. This will open the style editor.

Each style set here is specific to that individual object. The style will not appear in the Style Manager and preset styles that have been used elsewhere in your site cannot be applied to the product template. If you require a style that has been used elsewhere, please take note of the original style's attributes in order to duplicate it here.

Display Product Attributes

As the admin user, you are able to define which attributes of a product will be displayed when a product appears on a page. For example, you may wish to hide the 'Order' button and 'Shopping Cart' information from your users.

Attributes of each product will show only if that attribute's checkbox has been ticked in the template editor. If an attribute has been ticked, that attribute type will be visible for all products.

When you insert a product on a page, the styles that have been set in the product Template editor will be visible.

However you decide to present your products will be uniform to all of the products, regardless to which pages they are on.
