Short Description

Miscellaneous Objects are elements in the Aplinx system which cannot be categorized into other sections. They can range from Login/Logout forms to daily weather updates and outlooks.

Various miscellaneous objects have been incorporated into the Aplinx system and are available on special request. If there are any features you would like, but have not yet found available in your version of this system please email info@netagi.com with your request.

Access the Miscellaneous Manager

To access the Miscellaneous Manager you must be logged in with the administrator toolbar visible at the top of your screen. Select the button from the administrator toolbar. This will load the Content Menu, from here select 'Miscellaneous'.

The Miscellaneous Manager will load. Objects currently in your system will be shown in the table on the right. The Manager Options menu is on the left.

Up to ten objects will appear on each page. When more than ten items exist in a folder the top of the Manager will change. Forward and back arrows allow movement through the pages. The drop down list shows the ID numbers for the objects on each page.

Adding a Miscellaneous Object

To make a new object available for use in your system, enter the Miscellaneous Manager and select 'Add Object' from the Manager Options menu on the left of the screen. The window will reload showing the miscellaneous objects available for you to add. Click the 'Choose' button next to the selected object type.
