Accessing Metadata Notifier

To use Metadata Notifier you must be logged in with the administrator toolbar visible across the top of your screen. Select the  button and then Metadata Notifier from the drop down menu on the left of your screen.

The Metadata Notifier Manager will look similar to the one below, showing each of the dictionaries currently linked to your website.

In the example below only one notifier exists. For it, an email will be delivered to the administrator of this website if any object with the 'Title' of 'Business Name' is edited, created or removed from the system.

Adding or Editing a Metadata Notifier

Metadata notifiers cannot be edited. If you wish to alter an existing notifier you may need to remove the undesired notifier by clicking the 'Delete' button next to it. To create a new Metadata Notifier:

1. Load up the Metadata Notification Manager.
2. You can now click 'New Notifier'.
3. Select a metadata element from the dropdown list to filter by. In the example we are selecting the 'title' field and 'Business Name' as the object attribute.
4. Click 'Create'.
5. Your new notifier will now appear in the Manager's list and any objects that are saved with a title of 'Business Name' will have their details emailed to you.

NB: You must have your correct email set up in the User Manager
